Doctorlink offers a digital front door and online consultation solution for NHS practices

Doctorlink is the digital front door for primary care, helping to deliver NHS England’s total triage model, allowing practices to offer online consultations to their patients at any time. It provides advanced demand management and patient signposting, ensuring patients reach the right care at the right time. Doctorlink diverts around 40% of patients to more appropriate forms of care including self-care, pharmacy, urgent care services and local specialist clinics if appropriate based on their symptoms. It integrates with local Directory of Services to signpost patients to alternative care services and has inbuilt safeguarding alerts, based on RCGP guidelines, which if triggered are automatically sent to practice safeguarding leads.

Patients can book appointments directly into the three main clinical systems, in a safe and appropriate timeframe based on their symptoms, and have the ability to make admin requests such repeat prescription requests, or follow-up on test results and referrals. As patients are identity checked using either NHS login or PDS, it ensures that only registered patients can contact the practice.
