We’re delighted to announce that as part of our existing Online Consultation solution we now offer a Practice-Led Triage setup.
With no decision making involved by Doctorlink, Practice-Led Triage is perfect for practices that want to retain complete control of the patient journey, but who nevertheless face mounting pressure on their practice resources. This may take the form of reception and admin teams struggling to keep up with patient activity, leading to long wait times for patients as the practice is unable to manage appointment demand.
In this setup, patients complete the same symptom assessment as our Automated Triage: the comprehensive questions gather clear and relevant information on patient symptoms and history. This is then securely delivered into the patient record, ready for the practice to triage efficiently.
Doctorlink’s symptom assessment questions have undergone rigorous clinical governance and are validated against National, NICE and best practice guidelines. And emergency screening questions – at the beginning and throughout the assessment – also ensure the most critical patients are directed straight to the appropriate emergency care setting for their symptoms.
Practices can also make use of additional configurable settings that are available with our Online Consultation solution such as repeat prescriptions and admin task functionality, which can help free up additional time within the practice.
